I just had a Döner platter here and it arrived quickly and tasted great. Excellent service and nice people. I hope to return on my next time in Darmstadt.

We recently dined at this wonderful Turkish restaurant and were truly impressed! The place is spotlessly clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away. It’s also very child-friendly, which was a huge plus for our family — the staff were kind and accommodating, and the environment was relaxed and welcoming for little ones.
One of the highlights was the incredibly fresh salad served alongside our meal. It came with crisp rocket leaves and freshly cut cucumber, bursting with flavor and clearly prepared with care. It’s rare to find such fresh greens that actually taste garden-picked!
Another thing that really stood out was the balanced use of spices. Unlike many Turkish places that tend to go heavy on the seasoning, this restaurant keeps things flavorful without overwhelming the palate. This makes a big difference, especially when dining with children or anyone who prefers a milder spice level.
We also appreciated the separate men’s and women’s restrooms, which were exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and always stocked with soap and other essentials — a small detail, but one that speaks volumes about the overall care and hygiene standards of the place.
An extra bonus: the staff speak English, which made communication easy and the experience even more comfortable for us.
Overall, this is a restaurant we’ll definitely return to — for the clean and cozy setting, the thoughtful service, and the fresh, delicious food. Highly recommended!- Service

If there is one thing I like, it's a good Döner. And this is the place to hit. Yes there will be a wait. Yes, there is almost always a line. But man, is it worth it. If you have a chance. Try it. I was so glad to hear that they decided against moving to Heidelberg. And the I credible thing is, they are the first ones to probably keep this place open for a while. Outside seating. What else can one ask for!!

Where’s the best döner in Darmstadt? When I asked three people, at different times, all said Lappings. It didn’t disappoint! The spices, sauces, bread, meat, even the salad was excellent. So delicious!

Amazing place! Quick service, clean place and great food. Certainly a must-have in Darmstadt.
Best Döner in Darmstadt. Very friendly staff. Expect a long wait for both dine in and take-out as it's usually very busy. Still worth it though! Make sure to get a whole bread for 1€ before you leave!

Their doner durum and lahmachun are simply the best. They serve it in a really good size, much bigger than the others and not to forget the taste is absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and good food makes it one of the best ones in the city

One of the best places to eat Kebap in Darmstadt. Really nice and cozy place. The food is around the same price as other kebap places, but with lots of options and combinations.

Best Kebab I've ever been to. Quality food, great variety and good value. Would recommend.
They make their own bread which is always a good sign. Best döner around
